The first time I played Baldi's Basics in Education and learning, it was for the first time. While this particular game is very much a puzzle game, there is little mystery in it so much as the way Baldi, a young girl, uses a collection of objects to complete puzzles. What's really amazing about Baldi's Basics in Education and learning is that while the environment is vibrant and colorful and welcoming, it still manages to create a tension that despite the bright and cheerful setting, at times can still make you jump. I think one reason that Baldi has managed to create such a strong presence among educational software is her ability to manage multiple levels with the same level, so that not only does she not become overwhelmed, but instead, she's able to move from one room to the next using the objects in her arsenal to solve the mysteries and solve the puzzles.
The main objective of the game is to build the tallest tower and get the three magic gems from a chest before the clock strikes midnight. This level presents a lot of different obstacles, such as the stairs, which are hard to climb, and the clock that can only be reached by passing through three different portals. Once the stairs are climbed, a platform is dropped, which leads to the third level. The third level, however, can be completed in less than an hour.
Download Baldi's Basics in Education and learning for free on Google Play. When I downloaded it I was actually surprised to see that the application comes in a free version. While I don't think this version has a whole lot going for it, I suppose it serves as a good test run for the software's full version. It also gives you a great place to play the demo of the game. In the free version, you are given several levels that you have to complete in order to reach the higher level where the clock is falling. There are also several other minor things that might make the free version a better choice, such as a lack of sound effects, but otherwise, I'm pretty much pleased with the free version.
